We the Village Artisans, believing in the power of art to ennoble and enrich the lives of all people, determine to encourage and support the arts in whatever way we can in the community of Garden, MI, and in the region of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Our 2024 Silent Auction was a fun event and a successful fundraiser, bringing in almost $3,000. 97 pieces of art, crafts, gift baskets and other items were donated to be auctioned off, providing something for everyone. The charcuterie table was not to be missed and the music provided by Sue Robishaw and Steve Schmeck created a festive atmosphere. Friendly bidding against each other followed by a sing along made the afternoon quite festive.
Many thanks to everyone who helped from start to finish to make this event possible: donations, contacting people for donations, centerpieces made at the Greens Workshop and donated, decorating, the musicians, the delicious snacks, the gals who tallied up the bid cards, and board members who helped to set up and clean up.
